Building Hope, One Container Home at a Time

Every family deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Help us build a future where homelessness is a thing of the past.

Our Mission

Missy’s Place is a non-profit organization committed to providing safe and supportive housing for homeless individuals and families. We believe that every working person deserves a place to call home, and we’re determined to make that a reality.

We are not just building homes; we are building hope. We believe that every family deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we are dedicated to providing them with the tools and resources they need to do just that.

Our Story

Missy’s Place was founded by Veronica Taylor, and it is a testament to the enduring love and memory of her daughter, Melissa. Her unwavering dedication to creating a lasting impact on the lives of those struggling to secure a stable home has propelled this initiative forward. Veronica has volunteered countless hours helping, giving, and supporting her community for over 30 years. Veronica is a member of WEOP, teaches at the Cobb County Switzer Library, is a Great-Grandmother and an IT Professional for over 40 years.
